CAS-ual Fridays Stamps - July New Release Sneak Peeks - Day 2

Hello again and welcome to Day 2 of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps New Release Sneak Peeks!!

Today we have two sets for you, first up is Christmas Sparkle:

I love anything to do with circles and dots, so this caught my eye straight away and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it:

Who says Christmas cards have to be in traditional colours???! As you can imagine this was very simple to make. I stamped the large round stamp in a rainbow of colours (using Waffle Flower inks) just in a random pattern. I then used the smaller circle die from the new 'Tag Ornament Fri Dies' on some white CS, stamped the sentiment from 'Christmas Sparkle' in black pigment ink and immediately heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give it some shine. I then added some blue, yellow and clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some dark pink and red sequins from Neat and Tangled.

The second set we have for you is the Tag Ornament Fri Dies:

These are going to be used ALOT for my Christmas present tags and to make ornaments for the trees with the kids, especially shakers. I decided to make three different tags to show you some ideas but the possibilities are endless!!

For the shaker ornaments I cut the frames using the two circle dies from white CS and also from white foam. I then used the larger circle to cut the white CS shaker backs and clear acetate. For the red 'Merry Christmas' I stamped the sentiment on the shaker back in red pigment ink and clear heat embossed. I then put the shaker together using a shaker mix from Papervine.

For the blue shaker I heat embossed the sentiment in silver and used Distress Ink 'Salty Ocean' to blend a soft colour. I then put the shaker together using clear and light blue seed beads from The Ton and tiny silver stars from Papervine.

For the tag, I used the two circle dies on white CS and silver heat embossed the circle detail stamps on each one. I glued them together and added the sentiment in green. The 'To, From' is stamped on the back. All the hanging pieces are die cut from silver CS.

These sets will be available at the end of the week but if you want to shop then or buy any other products now, don't forget to use my special Girl Friday code to save yourself some money!!!

  4. Have to admit...because I have a massive lack of imagination, I looked at this new stamp set and wasn't impressed...then I saw what you and your fellow DT members did with it and now I have an ache in my jaw because of how long my mouth was gaping open. I am so impressed, especially with your card and tags...what an amazing eye you have and the talent to go with it. So imaginative and clever.
