I'm popping in quickly today to give you a quick reminder about our latest challenge at TIME OUT. We have a 'word inspiration' challenge for you this time with the phrase:
'AUTUMN.....the years last, loveliest smile'
You can take your inspiration from the phrase itself or maybe concentrate on one of the words, its totally up to you!!
I decided this time to use one of the words and decorate with Autumn colours around it:
I haven't used my Distress Inks for blending for quite a while and wanted to create some Autumn leaves with them.
I blended Barn Door, Mustard Seed, Spices Marmalade and Evergreen Bough on to some white CS. I then die-cut leaves from each colour in different shapes. After stamping the 'smile' and heat embossing in gold, I used some glue to layer the leaves on the card front. Once finished I added some gold sequins for a bit more shine.
The 'smile' is from CAS-ual Fridays 'Sassy Smiles'. The gold sequins are from Neat and Tangled. The leaf dies are all from Paper Smooches and from 'Flowers' and 'Roses' die sets.
I have five challenges I would like to enter:
Inkspirational Challenge # 92
Simply Create Too Challenge # 95 (Autumn Splendor)
Simon Says Stamp - World Card Making Day
Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge (Autumn is in the Air)
You have until next Wednesday to link your projects to the TIME OUT challenge. Please pop over to the blog to see what the rest of the Design Team and our Guest Designer Glenda have created to inspire you. Hope to see you in the Gallery!!!
