Time Out Challenge # 28 - Reminder

Just popping in to remind you about our latest TIME OUT challenge. We have this fantastic card by Kim Markortoff for you to:

                                  CASE with your own twist

We have had some incredible entries so far and it's amazing to see Kim's card inspire so many different designs. Claire from Life on the Scrap Heap is our Guest Designer for this challenge and her reminder card is stunning!!

For my last card I used die-cut flowers on black CS (that was my twist), so this time I decided to stamp my flowers but on to white CS instead:

I started this by cutting a panel of black CS the same size as the card and using a curved die to get the angled shape. I then set to work stamping my flowers and leaves in different 'Spring' colours. After heat embossing the sentiment in white, I popped the panel up on foam tape and added a few sequins for bling. I really like how colours stand out so much more when used near black, so must keep this in mind for future cards.

The flower stamps are from Waffle Flower 'Loved'. The sentiment is from Neat and Tangled 'Kindness Matters' and the sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I have five other challenges I'd like to link this too:

Simply Create Too # 82 (Anything Goes)

Sparkle and Shine Challenge # 3

Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge (April Showers and/or Spring Flowers)

Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge (A is for.......my idea is 'Angled')

Little Tangles Challenge # 55

You have one more week to enter your designs into the TIME OUT challenge. I sure hope you do as I'd love to see how you were inspired. And of course the rest of the Design Team have some creations on the blog to help you in that department (they are incredible!!). Hope to see you in the Gallery!

Take care
Shona
