Stunning, sunny day here today so will make this post quick. Need to make the most of these days before Winter descends upon us.
I've already entered two cards into the Winnie and Walter - The Gossip Column No. 1 Challenge with Taheerah Atchia but kept thinking about different possibilities in my head all the time.
This time I wanted to mix the grey, strawberry ice and turquoise colour (as close as I could get):
I die cut the butterflies using my new Paper Smooches dies and layered them directly on the card. I stamped the sentiment (Winnie and Walter 'The Big, the Bold and You') in grey ink and used my Wink of Stella on the 'thanks' for a bit of sparkle. I then stamped the sequin stamps from Winnie and Walter 'Big Bang Bling' in my closest ink colours. Will definitely do this colour combo again!
I'm going to link this to the House of Cards - April Challenge where their theme is:
And will also link to the Uniko Studio Challenge # 20 where their theme is 'Things with Wings'.
First things first, I have to give Max a haircut. He has always been petrified of going to the hairdresser and has such a sensitive scalp. He is now 8.5yrs and decided he needs a professional haircut, so this will be his last 'Mum chop' and will book him in for later in the term. At least he doesn't scream and cry thru it nowdays but will have some chocolate nearby to coax him to the finish. Wish me luck!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this one, too, Shona! I adore the clean feel, the lovely color combo, and the layered butterfly! Thanks for joining us at House of Cards! HUGS! :) Mynn xxReplyDelete
