I just couldn't help myself. After making one card for the challenge at Colour Me! I immediately had an idea for another card.
I decided with this second card to do a bit more die-cutting and popped in just the tiniest bit of black:
I used a metal die to cut the circles and also the white rectangle of cardstock. After working out where the circles (balloons) would go, I stamped balloon strings for each one. I then stamped the sentiment in yellow and trimmed the cardstock down to a square. This was then popped up on foam squares. The middle circle was glued straight to the card and the other two put on foam squares as well. This whole panel was then glued to a slightly larger rectangle in yellow cardstock. Clean, simple...I didn't even add any sequins!!!
The circle and rectangle metal dies are from Pretty Pink Posh. The balloon string stamp is from Simon Says Stamp 'I only have eyes for you'. The sentiment is from Rosies Studio.
As this has a black/white and yellow colour combo, I'm going to link this to the challenge at CAS on Sunday #41 where their theme is 'Black/white and one colour combination'. This is my second entry.
Its nearly 10.30pm so better get a wriggle on. Need to finish off a card and then to bed. I do wish I could survive on no sleep, I would get so much more done but can imagine I wouldn't look too gorgeous doing it. Would probably be able to audition for a part in 'The Walking Dead'!!!!!
