Happy New Year everybody!!!!! Talk about starting the year on a high note, I'm part of the Design Team for a new challenge at Happy Little Stampers!!!
Its so exciting and thank you so much Kylie for inviting me to join my fellow team members to bring you a new challenge each month!
For the Happy Little Stampers - CASE the Designer Challenge, each month one of the Design Team will create a card. You can then make your own after being inspired by maybe the colours, the technique, the layout etc. Its totally up to you!! And just incase your wondering what CASE means, it stands for 'Copy And Share Everything', so your more than welcome to copy the card itself if you would like!!
And even more fabulous news is that the winner of this challenge will receive a Happy Little Stampers stamp set of their choice. How cool is that!!!
For our first ever challenge this month, our CASE Designer is the incredible Kylie Purtell and this is her gorgeous card:
I love the simplicity of her design and the colours are so amazing against the white of the card base. I decided to go with a similar colour palette and bring more butterflies into my card:
To start I die-cut the white frame (from Pretty Pink Posh) twice from white CS and glued them together. I then worked out where they would sit and masked off the rest of the card. Using one of the butterfly stamps from Happy Little Stampers 'Butterfly Birthday', I used pink, orange and yellow ink colours to stamp across my card front. After removing the masking tape, I stamped the sentiment in black (from the same stamp set) and adhered the frame in place. Clean and pretty!
I'm going to link this to the Seize the Birthday Challenge where they have their 'Anything Goes' theme:
You have all month to enter the Happy Little Stampers - CASE the Designer Challenge as it finishes January 31st, so it gives you plenty of time to get back from your holidays, unpack, do all your washing and then sit down and create! The rest of the Design Team have some stunning cards to inspire you on the blog, if you need help in the 'ideas' department. I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!
