Last week I received my first ever Waffle Flower stamp set that I was lucky enough to win from a blog post giveaway (thank you May!!!). Its the 'Loved' stamp set and its even more fabulous in person. It has some two-step stamping for some of the flowers and they go together perfectly.
I finally had a chance today to sit down with it and create a card for the latest Waffle Flower Challenge. As you can see, the colours are so pretty and there are so many elements in the photo for inspiration. I loved the orchids in the photo and thought this was a perfect chance to use the new set:
I don't have many ink pads but was lucky enough to have the pink, green and teal blue. I don't have the taupe colour but found some paper from Teresa Collins 'You are my Happy' that matched perfectly.
After die-cutting the circle from white CS, I stamped the sentiment in black ink and the flowers in the challenge colours. I adhered the pattern paper strip to the card front and then popped up the circle on foam tape. A few enamel dots in the same teal blue (from Papervine) and it was finished. I loved using these stamps, so you may be seeing them a lot over the next few weeks.......
I'm also going to link this to the House of Cards Challenge where their theme is:
Will also link this to Darnell's NBUS Challenge # 4, this is my second entry:
Its just after 11.30pm and I really must go to bed. However, the final of a programme I've been watching was on a few hours ago and I recorded it. I may not have time to watch it for a few days so might have to watch it now to find out what happened. There just aren't enough hours in the day.........
I also just put my card with the color combo from Waffle Flower Challenge and too bad I dont have their stamp ...lucky you Shona you have this cute stamp from Waffle Flower...and your Image is really cute and colored perfectly with the photo inspiration and thanks to you that you joined us at HOC this month hope to see you again next month Shona...big hugs and jump again to my blog I made one with Shoe Images :) (in pastel colors)ReplyDelete
