Been wanting to join this challenge since it started but just kept missing the deadline. This time I wanted to make sure I was right on time.
This is the amazing inspiration card at The Cutting Edge Challenge this week. I love this card so much but wasn't sure how I could put my own spin on it. Had to do a bit of DIY with a die-cut piece to make it work.....
I know I said I was going to put down my Pretty Pink Posh metal window die but I really needed it for this card. I die-cut the window with some black cardstock and then trimmed off three of the windows. I backed it with white card, stamped with hearts and used some Glossy Accents on the middle heart. I popped the windows plus the sentiment up on some foam squares. I wanted to use some sort of string so found this silver twine and looped it thru the card.
The sentiment and heart stamps are from Hero Arts 'Year Round Sentiments' and the rhinestones are from Kaisercraft.
One more card left to post before I get the kids from school. Will have to start linking very quickly!!!!!!
Take care
Shona
