How are you all doing??? I am currently typing with fingers so cold I can hardly feel the keys. The frost in the morning is so cold I've decided to do the washing after school each day and hang it out before its too dark. It's still freezing though, thank goodness our fire is on!!
Which brings me to the current challenge at CASology where their cue word is 'Warm'. Something we won't be experiencing much of as we head into Winter here in New Zealand.
I spent this past weekend with my Mum so had plenty of time to organise not only my Design Team cards but also some challenge cards for fun. I was thinking warm colours, warm clothes etc and then found the perfect stamp set that I hadn't used before:
Talk about 'hot stuff'!! These cute little 'stuffed peppers' are from Clearly Besotted 'Vegetable Patch'. I had these given to me by a friend of mine who was clearing out her stash of stamps. They had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to be used, and this was it!!
This was super simple to do. I stamped the mouse image 3x across the card front, along with the sentiment, using black ink. I then coloured away with my Faber Castell pencils and voila! They are so cute!!
Its close to dinner time and I can hear the kids rustling around in the kitchen cupboards, so better get something prepared. Since its so cold I'm going to make Butter Chicken with home-made Roti Chenai, so will be warm inside and out!
