WPlus9 Throwback Thursday Challenge # 2

I wonder what life would be like if I could afford to buy any stamp sets I wanted. I would probably have so many I wouldn't know what to do with them all!! There are so many I would love to have in my stash and those include some more WPlus9 sets.

I really wanted to enter the WPlus9 Throwback Thursday Challenge but I only have two WPlus9 stamp sets. One is some Christmas wording and the other is 'Fresh Cut Containers'. When I entered this challenge last time, I used the set as it is, with some flowers arranged in a watering can. This time I had to try and think outside the box. Will be interesting to see how many challenge cards I can make over the next few months with this one set!!

I die-cut the frame from a piece of white CS and then spent quite a while stamping around the outside of it, trying to balance out the flowers and colours. I stamped the sentiment (Neat and Tangled 'Kindness Matters') and then popped the panel up on some foam tape. I added some pink small sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some green and turquoise ones from Neat and Tangled. A soft, pretty card for Spring.

I have two other challenges I would like to enter this card:

Sparkle and Shine Challenge # 3

Little Tangles Challenge # 55

Its finally raining today and its just me and the kids at home (no visitors). About to help Max with his Nerf guns, hope he doesn't want me to put an apple on my head for target practice.......

Take care
Shona

  2. Hi Shona. Beautiful colours you've chosen for this card. Your time spent balancing out was worth it - a fabulous card! Thanks for your kind comments over at FMS. For me, the holidays are a great time to craft - my kids have finished school and the university son stayed in Wellington for mid-term - plus school holidays are time off work for me. Enjoy your school holidays! I'm sure looking forward to mine.
