Time Out Challenge # 49

Welcome everybody to a new challenge at TIME OUT! Thank you to everyone who joined our last challenge, the Gallery looks so gorgeous and it will be very hard to choose the winners!! The theme for our new challenge is:

                                                INSPIRED BY WORDS
Love is the flower you've got to let grow' (John Lennon)

The possibilities are endless with this sentence. You could be inspired by individual words or the whole sentence itself, its totally up to you!

Our Sponsor for this challenge is Clearly Besotted Stamps and they are giving the winner of this challenge a gift voucher. Talk about lucky!!!

Also we have a Guest Designer for this challenge, its Valentyna from Flourishtina. I'm sure you will have seen Valentyna's cards around blogland. She is so often in the 'Winners Circle' for card challenges and she has a wonderful clean and modern style. Lovely to have her with us!!

The other day I was explaining to the kids about how strawberries develop from the flowers and its the same for lots of fruit like peaches, nectarines etc. They need lots of food and water to make sure they turn into juicy, sweet fruit, like tender loving care, so I went with this idea for my card:

This strawberry stamp has been waiting to be used for a few months now, so she was very happy to be taken out of her packaging and get all inked up!! I stamped her 10x on some white CS and coloured away with my pencils. I'm taking part (finally) in the 30 Day Colouring Challenge  and these strawberries were coloured on Day 1, which I shared on Instagram. Take a look at the link for all the challenge details, its lots of fun and totally no pressure!

I grabbed a white card base and used the matching strawberry die to cut random shapes and after adhering a panel to the back of white CS, I was able to inlay all my strawberries.  While colouring the strawberries, I also coloured this monkey with her matching bow and skirt. I used the matching dies for these, glued on her accessories and popped her up on some foam tape. To finish off I stamped the sentiment in black. Strawberry-lishiss!!

The strawberry stamp (and matching die) and sentiment are from Waffle Flower 'Claire'. The bow, skirt and monkey stamps (and matching dies) are also Waffle Flower 'Willy and friends'.

I have three challenges I would like to enter:
