Little Tangles Challenge - August

Happy August everybody!! Yes another month has passed us by and we are picking up speed towards Christmas....its quite frightening actually, I really need to work on my Christmas cards!!

Another pile of cards I need to work on is my 'Birthday card' stash, so thank goodness we have a 'Birthday' challenge at Little Tangles this month!!

I was extremely lucky recently to receive an unexpected present in the mail from my fabulously lovely friend Coni of Which Craft? I don't know how she did it but she sent me a stamp and die that I've wanted for months but never had enough money to purchase. Its been sitting in my Cart at Neat and Tangled for so long but I didn't tell anyone about it. Talk about an amazing and thoughtful gift! How I wish she lived closer so I could give her a huge hug!!  And of course I just had to use it for this challenge:

Oh how I love this stamp set, could look at these cards all day..... And as you can see I loved the design so much, I ended up by making two of them!

This was super simple to make. I started off by stamping the Floral Heart using Memento Ink on some Strathmore Bristol Smooth CS. I then coloured them in using my Altenew Artist Markers and die cut using the matching Floral Heart Dies.

To put them together I used double-sided tape to stick them together and then added foam tape to the back to put on the card front. I kept the sentiment (from Say Yes to Donuts) simple by stamping it in black on a strip of white CS and put on foam tape as well. And I definitely had to add some co-ordinating Neat and Tangled sequins too!!

I have four challenges I would like to enter:

Curtain Call Challenge

Uniko Challenge # 42

Stamplorations CAS Challenge

Southern Girls Challenge #165 (Flower Power)

You have until Thursday 31st August to link your projects to the Little Tangles challenge. And please pop over to the blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have created to inspire you, their projects are gorgeous!! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Take care
Shona
