Time Out Challenge # 65

Hey there everybody and welcome to September!! Its the first day of Spring here in New Zealand and we have the most beautiful day to celebrate. So excited to have the days getting longer and warmer. Its also time for a new challenge at TIME OUT.  We have a phrase to inspire you this time:

'Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year' by Chad Sugg

This is such a beautiful phrase and with the other side of the world heading into Autumn it certainly is appropriate. You can be inspired by the whole phrase or pick out one word, its totally up to you.

We have a sponsor for this challenge CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and they are giving the winner a $25 gift voucher to spend in their store. That's one fabulous prize!!!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the fabulous Rema of Paper Panache. She has the most beautiful designs and is a brilliant CAS designer. I really encourage you to pop over to her blog to take a look!

With myself heading into Spring, its hard to get into the spirit of Autumn leaves but after grabbing the perfect stamp set, it became easy to play with fall colours:

I used a Hero Arts stamp set 'Let Love Grow' along with some fall colour ink pads from Altenew and Colorbox. I cut a panel of white CS the same size as my card front and stamped the images randomly. I then used a floral die from CAS-ual Fridays 'Posies Fri Die' to cut the central shape and stamped the sentiment within it. I then popped the panel up on foam tape and added lots of gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I'm going to link this to the Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge where their theme is 'Anything Goes'.

You have two weeks to link your projects to the TIME OUT challenge and the rest of the Design Team have some gorgeous projects on the blog to give you a few ideas. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with in the Gallery!!

Take care
Shona
