The Challenge # 46

Hi everybody!! I'm super excited to be joining The Challenge  Design Team for my second challenge as the 'October Guest Designer'. Thanks again for having me!!!

For this weeks challenge we are really getting into the Autumn spirit using some rich reds, yellows and rusty colours, along with some kraft card stock for our creations.

I even got a bit crazy and decided to use some die-cut negatives as stencils, which was so much fun:

After creating a kraft card base, I also cut another panel slightly smaller than a piece of white CS. I had created another card with some leaf die-cuts and had the negatives on the table, so used them and the sponge off my mini-blending tool to create the leaf shapes. I adhered this to the white panel and then popped them up on foam tape. After die-cutting the 'thanks' with gold CS and twice from white CS, I glued them all together and attached to the card front. I also heat embossed the rest of the sentiment in white on a tiny piece of black CS and glued this, along with gold sequins for a bit more shine.

The 'thanks' and leaf dies are from Paper Smooches. The 'so much' stamps are from Winnie and Walter 'The Big, the Bold and You'. The gold sequins are from Neat and Tangled.

You have until Sunday 18th October at noon (PST) to link your projects to the challenge. The Design Team have prepared some incredible cards to inspire you on the blog if you need any help with ideas. Hope to see you in the Gallery!!

Take care
Shona
