Addicted to CAS Challenge # 73

Its not very often I get a chance to make more than one card for a challenge nowdays but I had two ideas for this one and neither of them would leave me alone until they were made!


I purchased some second-hand stamps a while ago and STILL haven't tried a lot of them out. This set couldn't have been more perfect for this challenge:



 I started off by stamping the cat on some white CS, colouring with my pencils and fussy cutting. I then decided to try out some paper piecing, which I think I've only ever done once before. I knew I had some lovely neutral floral paper somewhere, so stamped the pillow onto it and fussy cut as well. I adhered the cat to the pillow and popped up on foam tape. Then all I had to do was stamp the sentiment and the heart. Done!!

All of these stamps are from Simon Says Stamp 'Pillow Talk' and the patterned paper is from Chickaniddy Crafts 'Scrumptious'.

Its extremely late and the kids are still up doing some drawing and playing on their Ipods. Better get them to bed or I will never get them up in time to go to my gardening job tomorrow at 10.30am. We get up so late in the holidays, its going to be a big struggle come Monday.....
