I promise this is my last post of the night. I must clean up and go to bed as I have to be up early for school....eeekkk! We haven't gotten up earlier than 8am (sometimes not till 9.30am..) since the school holidays started, so 6.45am is going to be a killer! Kids are kind of looking forward to it which will help. I might have to get them to wake me up instead of the other way around......(I'm not a morning person at all...).
This third card is one I had floating around in my head at about 2.30pm today and I didn't get a chance to start making it till 6pm, while preparing dinner. Phoebe came out to the kitchen to find me cooking sausages and fussy cutting at the same time!!! I then finished off at 7.30pm. This mean't I had lost all the good light for a photo but took it with my Iphone, so hope this is okay:
Good grief this photo is awful, just look at it quickly out of the corner of your eye...that's it!! But I'm so glad I got it finished and it looks much better in person!!
I cut a piece of water colour paper the same size as my card front and did a swish of water colouring with Distress Ink 'Picked Raspberry'. I stamped the foxes in black on some white CS and coloured them with my grey Ziggie. After fussy cutting I popped them both up on some foam tape. I then stamped the banner and sentiment on some white CS, fussy cut and also put on foam tape. A few sequins for sparkle and it was done!
The fox, banner and sentiment stamps are from The Ton 'Hey Foxy'. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.
I'm going to link to the Virginia's View Challenge # 19 where their theme is 'Colouring'.
I'm off to bed as I need to get an early night. Its a bummer though because I really wanted to make an entry for the Muse Challenge. Joan has made the most beautiful card and I wanted to join in. Hopefully I can come up with a design in my sleep and whip it up before I go gardening tomorrow.....fingers crossed!!!
