Winnie and Walter Rerun Challenge # 13 - Take 2

Another very quick post to link my second entry to the Winnie and Walter Rerun challenge!!

For the 'Rerun' challenge this month they are looking at the stamp set 'In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya'. I continued with my water colouring theme using the stamp set but decided to try out a different colour combo:

This was so hard to photograph as I kept getting a shadow on the gold CS each time I held up the camera!!

I started off by stamping the flowers and leaves on some water colour CS and heat embossing with rose gold embossing powder. I then used my Gansai Tambi paints to colour them in, trying to keep the colours quite soft. Once dry I fussy cut them all out. The Winnie and Walter 'hugs' die was cut twice from white CS and once from gold CS and glued together for stability. I then added tiny strips of foam tape to the back.

Using double-sided tape I arranged and adhered my flowers and leaves to the card front, trying to make the design on an angle. I then added the die-cut straight over top and added some sequins from Neat and Tangled.

I'm also going to add this to the Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge where their theme is 'Anything Goes'.

Whew, I just made it with 45 minutes to spare. I really need to make myself design these cards earlier but after being sick for the past week I'm finding it hard to get caught up on everything. I'm going to spend the weekend with my Mum this weekend, so will just be able to make cards the whole time and get myself totally ahead of the game. It won't stay like that for long but will be a nice feeling for a little while..

Take care
Shona

Glad you are feeling better and that you are having some relaxed crafty time at your mum's this weekend! Enjoy that spring weather! Hugs, Darnell
