CAS-ual Fridays Stamps - July New Release Sneak Peeks - Day 1

Yippee!!! Today is finally here!! Its time for the July New Release Sneak Peeks at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!!!

We have all sorts of wonderful stamps and dies to show you over the next five days and it will definitely get you in the 'Christmas' mood!!

This first post includes stamps and dies that were included with the Catherine Pooler 'Stamp of Approval - Holiday Box' last year but not available anywhere else. I know there are lots of people who have been waiting for these to be released, so your going to be very happy indeed!!

Up first we have the 'Bring on the Snowflakes' stamp set:

These are such gorgeous, modern snowflakes in different sizes and patterns. For my card I wanted to show these patterns off:

I stamped and heat embossed the snowflakes in white on a panel of water colour CS. I then used my mini-blending tool and Distress Inks - Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean to create an ombre look. I cut out two tags using the 'Scallop Tag Fri Dies' and popped them up on foam tape on the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the new 'Snowy Sayings' stamp set on a strip of white CS and put on foam tape as well. A few clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finished the sparkle!!

Next up we have the 'Funky Flakes Fri Dies' which are a match for the 'Bring on the Snowflakes' stamp set. I felt a bit of shimmer and inlaid die-cutting was in order to show these off:

I die cut the snowflakes from Craft Smith 'Holiday Foil' CS in silver. I then cut a strip of white CS and also another strip of the same foil CS which was slightly bigger. I die cut the snowflakes from the white CS strip and adhered some more white CS behind it. This gave me somewhere to inlay the silver snowflakes, which I did with some glue. The silver strip and snowflake panel where adhered to the card front. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the 'Snowy Sayings' stamp set in silver and popped it up on foam tape. For embellishment I glued on the little silver circles that were popped out of the snowflake dies, just for something different!!

Last but certainly not least, we have the 'Snowy Sayings' Stamp set which I think will become one of my favourites for my Christmas cards.

I stamped snowflakes on the card front using blue/gray inks. I then used the 'Friend Fri Die' through the snowflakes and adhered a panel of white CS to the back. After using the 'friend' die on some light blue and light turquoise CS, I glued them all together and inlaid them into the card. The sentiment was stamped in black ink, Wink of Stella was brushed over the die cut and some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finished it off.
