Showcase Your Style Challenge # 12

Have just come back from the movies. Took the kids to see 'Tinkerbell and the Never Beast'. Such a wonderful, sweet movie which had me in tears (how embarassing.....) in the sad parts. Totally recommend it!!

This sketch for the Showcase Your Style  challenge this week is so good, especially since I have the perfect die to use!!

When I first started playing this challenge, I was very lucky to win a $10 voucher to spend at Clearly Whimsy Stamps and thought it was about time I used them here.

I started by die-cutting the windows from the card front, adhering a piece of white CS behind it and putting the window frames back in. I heat embossed the buckets in silver (like a galvanised bucket), fussy cut them out and popped them up on foam tape. After stamping the sentiment I added a few hearts and used Wink of Stella on the 'love' stamp.

The stamps are from Clearly Whimsy 'Thanks a million' and the heart dies from Paper Smooches 'Tiny Hearts'. The window die is from Pretty Pink Posh.

Will link this to the Virginia's View Challenge # 14 where their theme is:

And will also link to the Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge where the theme is 'Middle', my buckets are in the middle of each window.

Off to take the dog for a walk with the kids, in the sun. Has been very cold and cloudy/rainy here of late and after sitting on our backsides watching the movie, I think we need a bit of fresh air.

Take care
Shona
