Its Friday....yippee!! Although, we are halfway thru the school holidays so every day is like Friday at the moment. Well, actually its more like a lazy Sunday morning everyday but there is always something wonderful about a Friday. And of course one of those things is its time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink!
Aren't these colours just divine??! I do actually have the Stampin Up 'Blackberry Bliss' stamp pad but its one of those colours that I get a bit scared of using....like orange. I have no idea why, its such a deep, rich, beautiful colour. Maybe I just haven't paired it with the right stamp yet?? I decided that I've been doing quite a bit of die-cutting lately, so it was time to get out my ink pads:
I don't know what it is about house stamps and dies but I love them all. I got this stamp set a few weeks ago and only used one house stamp on a card. I thought this would be a good chance to give them all a go at once!
I stamped the houses in grey ink across the card front and then stamped the larger house in 'Blackberry Bliss' on some white CS. I fussy cut around it and popped it up on foam tape over the same house stamped in grey. I then stamped the sentiment in pink, cut into a rectangle and popped this up on foam tape as well. A few tiny hearts stamped in the same pink and the cute little houses were done.
All of the stamps used on this card are from the same Paper Smooches stamp set 'Bitty Bungalows'.
I'd like to enter this into the Simply Create Too Challenge # 82, where their theme is 'Anything Goes'.
Would also link to enter the Paper Smooches - Sparks Challenge Week 1
Will also add to the Virginia's View Challenge # 14
You have till Wednesday 15th April to enter the Just Add Ink challenge and if your needing help in the inspiration department, the rest of the Design Team have created some fantastic cards for you on the blog. Hope to see you in the Gallery!!
Take care
