Honey I Shrunk the Kit # 3

I'm so excited!! Two months have wooshed by and that means its time for another installment of 'Honey I Shrunk the Kit'!!

For those of you who haven't come across these posts before, a few months ago I was approached by my friend Hazel of Hazels Paper Designs to see if I would be interested in doing a mini-kit between myself, Hazel and another friend Sarah of Funky Fossil Designs. Of course I jumped at the chance!!

Basically every two months one of us puts together a little 'kit' of papers, card stock etc that would fit in a normal envelope. We then each get to create our own CAS designs and post them on our blogs to see what we come up with. Its been so much fun so far and this time it was my turn to choose the kit!

The papers are from Echo Park 'Everyday Eclectic' and enamel dots from Papervine. I used stamp images and sentiments from WPlus9 'Wishing You' and Create a Smile 'Bad Day'. Both of the die-cuts are from Paper Smooches.

Card No. 1 - I fussy cut the images and coloured with pencils. After die-cutting the circle from white CS with my Waffle Flower 'Flower Circles Set', I put the images on some foam tape. I cut out the sentiment into a banner and stuck to the bottom of the circle, which I also put on foam tape. Done!!

Card No. 2 - I fussy cut the patterned paper along a row of circles and adhered to the card front with foam tape. I cut out the sentiments and also put them on foam tape for some dimension. The flower was glued to the paper and I used some of the enamel dots.

Card No. 3 - I cut two strips of the patterned paper, had one sticking out slightly from under the other and adhered to the card front. After colouring the bunnies with pencils I fussy cut them out, added some grey pencil to the card to ground them, and popped them up on foam tape. The sentiment was cut into a banner, adhered to the card and I used some more of the enamel dots.

Card No. 4 - I cut a strip of patterned paper and used a curved-stitched die from Pretty Pink Posh to create a hill. I coloured the bunnies with pencils, fussy cut them out and popped them on foam tape. I cut the sentiment into a banner and put on foam tape as well. I then stamped the small hearts from the WPlus9 'Wishing You' stamp set.

Whew! And I still could have created more!! I was so worried about choosing the kit, especially that I wouldn't be able to make anything from it but it turned out to be fantastic!! And I could colour those cute bunnies all day....

I can't wait to see what Hazel and Sarah created and I hope you pop over to their blogs to see their creations too!! Its so much fun to create with friends, I just wish we lived a wee bit closer....Hazel is in Australia and Sarah in England but you never know, one day I might win the lottery and get to visit them both!!!!

I'm off to visit with my friends. Enjoy the weekend!!!

Take care
Shona
