Aren't these photos just delicious? I just want to dive into that pink icing! We would like you to create a project inspired by these images. Whether you go pink crazy or cover your project in love hearts, its totally up to you!
My sweet tooth was attracted to those gorgeous pink cookies straight away and I just knew I had to have tiny hearts on my card somewhere:
I wonder what colour the liquid would be in the cup if it was filled with love?? And what flavour would it be?? Strawberry? Raspberry? Maybe it would be different for every person who drank from it.
I stamped the cup onto white CS, fussy cut and added to the card front with foam tape. I then spent a bit of time die-cutting all the tiny hearts in two different pink tones of CS. These were then glued to the card front and cup. After stamping the sentiment, I covered the heart on the cup with Wink of Stella and then lashings of Glossy Accents. You can never have too many tiny hearts don't you think??
The cup stamp is from Paper Smooches 'Cyber Cafe' and the heart dies are also from Paper Smooches 'Tiny Hearts'. The sentiment is from 'The Afternoon Tea Set' but was purchased second hand so I don't know what brand they are unfortunately.
I have quite a few challenges that I can link this card to, so please bear with me:
AAA Card Challenge # 32
CASology Challenge Week # 133
House of Cards - February Challenge
Addicted to CAS Challenge # 56
Artful Crafts - February Challenge
I really do hope you have a chance to create something for us to see at Just Add Ink and if you need any help with inspiration, please visit the blog to see the spectacular projects created by the rest of the Design Team.
Hope to see you there!!!
Take care
Shona
Rockin' those challenges with one super sweet card. I'm a sucker for hearts and I love what you did with all those tiny ones. Happy love day to your corner of the globe.
ReplyDeleteThink the colout in the cup for me would be blue...and the flavor...something with a hinge of citron I think. But seriously; your card is beautiful designed again! Great sentiment! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteShona...this is just so sweet. As for color of liquid in the cup, mine would be orange and black. So fun and what a clever idea you had. I am off to pin your card for inspiration on another day. Wishing you a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun when it's a specific holiday like Valentine's Day and seemingly ALL of the challenges work for your card?! And I'd say you rocked them ALL with your adorable cupful of love, Shona! Of course, the steam would be heart-shaped and, I agree, the flavor itself would be different for everybody. Otherwise, it would be boring, right?! Happy Valentine's Day! Have a great weekend!! Hugs, Darnell
