Hi everyone!! This is a bittersweet post for me as I get to show you more of my Winnie and Walter December Leading Lady cards but its also my fifth and final post.
It has been a dream come true to have been featured on the Winnie and Walter blog each weekend this month. I've had so much fun creating with the new release and mixing with my already well-loved older products. Their stamps and dies are so well designed it makes it easy to create new cards with them and I already have some ideas on how to use their Christmas sets for other types of cards!
I owe a huge hug and thank you to Shay for giving me this opportunity and being so helpful and supportive.
And I need to give you all a big hug and thank you as well for all your fantastic feedback and support over these weeks. You guys rock!!
My theme for this post is 'one-layer' Christmas cards. I know that a lot of you are scared of one-layer designs but once you get the hang of it and realise what you can create, you will be making them all the time!! To find out how I created this card and three others, pop over to the Winnie and Walter blog.
And don't forget to leave a comment on this post and my four other Leading Lady blog posts for a chance to win a $30 gift card from Winnie and Walter!!
As its such a busy time of year, I'll give you all until January 7th to leave your comments and then choose a winner. So exciting!!
Thanks again everyone, I really hope you've enjoyed all my cards and I've inspired you to maybe try something new with your designs. Wishing you all a happy and crafty 2017!!
Take care
Shona

ReplyDeleteDayang girl...you've just done the best Leading Lady stint I've ever seen. Wow! Watching your progression in card making has just knocked my on my kiester. Every new post is a revelation of creativity and genius, combined. 2017 is going to be an eye-popping year if you continue to put out these amazing card. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeves (besides your arms, of course).
Beautiful One layer card Shona...Love it..
ReplyDeleteYou're so right, Shona: one-layer cards are terrifying, especially for me, the Queen of Things Never Cut or Aligned Quite Straight (aka: Queen of Askew!) You, however, with your quartet on one-layer wonders, have convinced me to give this technique a try (soon!). Your black&white cute Christmas characters, tossing love around, are absolutely darling; your inlaid ornament (yayyyy for the paint chips) with the shimmery sentiment, soooo pretty; your owls, sporting festive red scarves and nestled in their frames, beyond adorable (fabulous way to create dimension with colouring!); and your "patterned paper" ornaments, sheer delight! I can see why this is your favourite; my favourite is ALL! You've been an outstanding Leading Lady, my friend, exploring new techniques and inspiring us ever so much with your journey! So grateful that W&W recognized your talents; you are a star!
