The theme for this AAA Card Challenge is 'Glitter' and as I had a chance to play around with some Xmas stamps that I didn't get to use in December, I had to include some glitter somewhere:
I did some shopping at Pretty Pink Posh before Xmas with great intentions of creating amazing Xmas cards with the stamps. That was a great big FAIL and I didn't get one card out at all!! So these poor stamps have been sitting there very unused. I felt so bad I thought it wouldn't hurt to make a few more Xmas cards so I'm extra ready for Xmas 2016!!
I stamped the puppy and hat from the PPP stamp set 'Holiday Pals' onto some white CS and coloured with pencils. I also die-cut one of the bows from the 'Twine and Bows' die set from a red paint chip. And I cut two narrow strips as well for the rest of the ribbon. I had a negative of white CS after using the PPP 'Stitched Duo 1' window die and glued the strips and bow onto it, as if it was a present.
After fussy cutting the puppy and hat, I popped the present on some foam tape in the middle of the card front. I glued the hat to the puppy's head and popped him up on foam tape too, as if he was sitting on top of the present. I then stamped the sentiment (from the PPP 'Holiday Pals' stamp set) in black.
I also cut the larger PPP 'Scallop Frame Die' twice from white CS and once from silver glitter CS and glued them all together. I then adhered it to the card front. And for a bit more bling, I glued on a few PPP Clear Sequins. This card is 100% Pretty Pink Posh....yay!!
Pretty Pink Posh have also just released some new products today. How I wish I could afford to buy some but they will have to go on my wish-list for now. Paulina has such good ideas when it comes to die-cut designs and I haven't finished playing with her stamp sets yet, so there may be more Xmas cards to come......
