We've already received some amazing entries and I love to see how everyone interprets this photo differently. I also want to remind you that we have some fabulous prizes for this challenge since its our 1st birthday, so pop over to the blog to check out those details.
I couldn't help but be inspired again by the gorgeous frames but went a bit different with my die-cutting this time around and added in some wood veneer to represent those twirly-whirly branches:
I think this is my first ever 'new home' card, which is a nice change and I just received these new veneers that I couldn't wait to play with too!
I started by die-cutting the frame from pink CS and then twice from white CS. These were stuck together for strength. After gluing on some clear acetate, I covered the back of the frame with foam tape and laid it face down on the table. I filled each window with sequins and then pressed the card front straight down over top. Then it was just a case of stamping the sentiment, adding a few extra sequins and gluing on the 'happy'.
The frame die is from Pretty Pink Posh. The wood veneer 'happy' is from Freckled Fawn. The stamp sentiment is from Winnie and Walter 'The Big, the Bold and the Merry'. The pink and yellow sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh, the blue sequins from Avery Elle and purple sequins from Neat and Tangled.
You have until Wednesday 18th March 5pm to enter and if your needing any help with inspiration, please head over to the blog to see what the rest of the Design Team and our Guest Designer for this challenge (Mandi from Faith Hope Crafts) have prepared for you.
Hope to see you there!!!!
Take care
Shona
