Reminder: Time Out Challenge # 15

One week has flown by but there is still time to join in with our challenge at TIME OUT. Our theme is:

stamping with the optional twist of: apples

Meaning, you can stamp as little or as much as you like and if you go with the optional twist, you have the chance of winning a prize from Avocado Arts......yippee!

We have already had an amazing number of entries, with such incredible designs and ideas. And I'm sure we will have many more join in over the next week.

My card last week was 'stamping overload', so I decided to be a bit more conservative this time around and found a way to incorporate some apples....kind of.....

I've had this tree stamp for months and never knew what to do with it but I realised that with a few red enamel dots, it could turn into an apple tree!

After stamping the sentiment, I adhered the card straight onto a piece of black paper with white polka dots, that was ever so slightly larger. To keep with the natural look, I made a kraft card and used foam tape to adhere the panel. Phoebe looked at it the other day and said 'thats a cool apple tree', so thank goodness it looks like its supposed too!

The tree stamp is from Kaisercraft. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and enamel dots from Papervine. The black/white paper is from Lawn Fawn 'Peace Joy Love'.

I do hope you have a chance to join in with this challenge (it will be open till Wednesday 8th October 5pm). But if you don't have time to create, please pop over to TIME OUT to check out the entries and hopefully we will see you next time!

Take care
Shona
