CASology Challenge - Week 95

One more quick post before I run out into the sunshine! I really loved all the designer and challenge entrant cards at the Casology Challenge this week, as their inspiration was:
As many of you will know, I don't have many stamps or dies so try to make do. Thank goodness I had 'splashed out' the other week and purchased some new metal dies.

Its not the most original idea for a card but tried out something new while making it. Seems I don't have many 'grey' coloured papers, which I wanted for my cloud. So, I used my Mama Elephant 'Smoke' ink pad and smooshed it all over a piece of white cardstock....it was perfect! I love how it has light patches and isn't perfect. It was fun!! I also put some blue paper behind the rain drops. I've been doing alot of inlay die-cutting of late, so stayed away from that this time.

The cloud and raindrop die's are from Spellbinders 'Inspire' range. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft 'You!', enamel dots from Papervine and blue paper from Echo Park 'So Happy Together'.

Now I'm off to run in the sunshine with my 2 large wet and shaggy dogs. Bliss!

Take care
Shona
