Hello there everyone and welcome to challenge #5 at The Flower Challenge!!
I really enjoy CASEing a fellow designers card and this month is even more exciting because this particular card maker is someone I admire immensely!!
Yes, thats right, Therese Calvird of Lost in Paper is our Guest Designer. And we are so lucky to be CASEing one of her cards!! Therese is on many design teams, her colouring skills are out of this world and she is a wonderful person as well....she's the whole package!! So its wonderful to have her with us this month.
I loved the design of Therese's card so much, I pretty much went with the same layout and colours, with the odd tweak here and there:
I started off by cutting a panel of white CS slightly smaller than the card front. I die-cut the flower from it and glued a piece of clear acetate behind the hole. This gave me somewhere to adhere the white flower on too. I glued a piece of patterned paper to the card front and popped the panel up on foam tape over-top, so it could be seen thru the flower.
The 'love' was die-cut 3x from white CS, glued together and then coloured with Distress Ink 'Worn Lipstick' using my mini-blending tool. I adhered this to the card, along with the rest of the sentiment and some co-ordinating sequins. I hope Therese likes it!!
The 'rose' and 'love' dies are from Paper Smooches. The 'sending' sentiment is from Waffle Flower 'Balloon Messages'. The sequins are from Neat and Tangled.
I have four challenges I would like to enter:
Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge (The Colour of Love)
The Card Concept #66
Paper Smooches Challenge - February
Simply Create Too # 124 (Love)
You have until February 25th to link your projects to The Flower Challenge and if you need any help with ideas on 'CASEing', pop over to the blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for you. Can't wait to see what you come up with in the Gallery!!
Take care

Welcome back to Day 4, the last day of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps February New Release!!
We have two more stamp sets to reveal today. The first one is Daisy Chains:
These gorgeous flowers can be used for so many different ideas on your projects and imagine colouring them all!!
For my card I stamped and heat embossed one of the 'chains' on a piece of water colour CS and blended three different pink Distress Inks to create the ombre look. The panel was then popped up on foam tape over the card front.
I then die-cut the Love Ya Fri-Die three times from white CS, glued them all together and then blended the bottom half of the letters with Distress Ink 'Picked Raspberry'. Once they were glued over the panel, I gave the letters a good covering of Glossy Accents to make them shine. And of course I added some of the new Sisterhood Sparkle sequins for a bit more bling!!
The final stamp set revealed today is actually my favourite from the whole release. I know I shouldn't have favourites but I couldn't help myself. I don't have many background stamps and this one is divine:
Isn't this a colouring persons dream??!!!! So many beautiful flowers that match with all the other floral products from this release.
For this card I simply stamped the flowers on a piece of white CS with black ink and spent ages colouring in all the flowers with my pencils (while watching tv). I adhered the panel to my card front and then made a frame to pop up over top using the largest tag from the Tag Buddies Fri-Dies.
To create the sentiment I die-cut the Smile from the Smiling Fri-Dies from a piece of wood veneer and also twice more from white CS. I glued them all together and then to the card front. I also gave it a coating from my Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen and some more Sisterhood Sparkle sequins.
So, there were have it. That's the full reveal of the February New Release. Pop over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for you and have a chance to win some goodies for yourself.

Welcome back to Day 3 of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps New Release! I really hope you've loved the new sets so far and I'm sure you will fall in love with the rest too!!
We have two more stamp sets for you today. First up is Tag Your It:
These are such fantastic and hilarious sentiments that fit perfectly on the Scallop Tags and Tag Buddies Fri-Dies.
For this card I used the small envelope stamp from Day 1's Special Delivery stamp set to create the background and gold heat embossed the sentiment on the smaller 'Scallop Tag' die. I also used the new Sisterhood Sparkle sequins created by Pretty Pink Posh.
The second stamp set for today is Frankly'isms:
Absolutely love these sentiments, so good for someone with a great sense of humour!!
For this card I used the same small Scallop Tag Fri-Die. I created the rainbow effect by using my mini-blending tool, different coloured Distress Inks and some washi tape to mask off the strips. Once the ink was dry I stamped the sentiments in black Versamark Ink and immediately heat embossed with clear powder. The tags were popped up on foam tape with some co-ordinating ribbons and sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Isn't this the most fabulous New Release!! I hope your enjoying seeing all these new products and if you pop over to the CAS-ual Fridays Blog you will see what the rest of the Design Team have created with these stamp sets and have the chance to win something for yourself!!
All of the New Release is available to purchase this Saturday and please use my 'Girl Friday' special code to save yourself some cash!!
