Hope your all having a wonderful Easter weekend! Its Easter Monday for us here in New Zealand and we are still eating chocolate. Unfortunately Max has come down with his 3rd virus in 4 weeks so he's been sick and coughing since Saturday but he still managed to find all his eggs yesterday and ate a few. The schools are all closed for Tuesday as well so Phoebe has Ella coming to stay tonight, so we need to be prepared for chocolate-fuelled giggling till all hours....
I've managed a little crafting lately and been using some of the stamps that haven't been inked up yet. This Neat and Tangled set is one of those and the current Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge is so perfect to add any type of card you like with their 'Anything Goes' theme:
I'm always a sucker for floral stamp sets and this set from Neat and Tangled 'Bloom' is so beautiful!!
I tried something different when I stamped out these flowers. Using all the tiny stamp images from the set, I used my MISTI and set up two groups on the panel of watercolour CS. I stamped the groups with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white powder and then just moved my panel around in the MISTI to stamp the groups again. Was so much easier than having them on separate stamp blocks!!
Once I finished embossing I used my Altenew Markers Set A to colour them in. The panel didn't seem right to use in its entirety, so I used a curved die from Pretty Pink Posh on one side. I adhered a strip of grey CS on the left of the card front and popped the coloured panel up on foam tape. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold on watercolour CS, fussy cut it out and put it on foam tape, making two layers on one side to really pop it up. I finished off by gluing on some sequins, also from Neat and Tangled.
Max has just purchased a new PS4 game that he's been dying to get his hands on. He's paused it and is waiting for me to finish typing this so I can watch him play. The graphics are so real, its amazing what they can create nowdays!!
Take care
Shona

Nicely done, as usual. Love the soft colors and the treatment of your sentiment. Hopefully Max is feeling better.
