I'm not sure about other parts of the world but in New Zealand Mother's Day is Sunday the 8th of May, so this challenge is a great way to create something for your Mum!!

I was playing around with all sorts of different ideas and kept coming back to the same, very simple design:
I stamped the three words (from Honey Bee Stamps 'Wonderful Life') in Hero Arts Mid-tone Shadow Ink 'Bubble Gum'. I then stamped and heat embossed the butterfly (from Hero Arts) in white on a piece of vellum. After fussy cutting I folded the wings up slightly and added a thin piece of glue tape and adhered to the card.
A little hard to give this to my Mum now for Mother's Day, as she reads all my blog posts but I hope she likes the fact that I thought of her while I made this card.
