Just Add Ink Challenge # 282

Welcome to Friday and to another month, where did September go??? And of course because its Friday, it means its time for another challenge at Just Add Ink.

This is the brilliant inspiration for this weeks challenge. I LOVE grey with white and adding some hot pink makes it even better!!

I've wanted to make a shaker card without using sequins for a long time and thought this might be the time to give it a go:

I knew I had this grey striped journal card somewhere and that started off my design, so it was adhered to my card front. I die-cut the tag pieces from white CS and added a piece of acetate to the window piece. On the tag itself, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in silver, to capture the idea of the silver mirror in the photo. I then grabbed some hot pink, light pink, dark and light grey paint chips and die-cut lots of tiny hearts, stars, snowflakes and circles. After adding lots of foam tape to the window piece, I piled the tiny hearts etc on top of the sentiment and put the window card on top to seal the shaker. This was then glued to the journal card.

The journal card is from My Minds Eye 'Fancy That'. The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays 'Bold Wishes'. The 'Funky Square Fri-die' and 'Funfetti Fri-dies' are also from CAS-ual Fridays.
