Just Add Ink Challenge # 274

Yippee! Its Friday once again, which not only means the end of the week but also a new challenge at Just Add Ink.  We have the most amazing inspiration photo for you this week:


I love, love, LOVE this photo and want desperately to sit at that beautiful table. I love white and wood together, so this is totally up my alley! And I even knew what I wanted to create straight away:



I grabbed some wood patterned paper I knew was stashed away and my favourite chevron die and went to town, die-cutting the paper and some white CS. I alternated the paper and CS in two sections and held them together at the back with washi tape. I used some more washi to keep them in position on the card front and cut off the overhanging pieces, so I had a straight edge. I removed them, added lots of foam tape and put them back in position. I glued on the 'amazing' wood veneer and the sentiment, which was also popped up on foam tape. And I couldn't finish without a scattering of gold sequins. I totally love this card!!

 The chevron die is from Reverse Confetti and the wood patterned paper from Echo Park 'Everyday Eclectic'. The veneer word is from Freckled Fawn and the sentiment stamp from Neat and Tangled 'Faceted'. The sequins are also from Neat and Tangled.
