Paper Smooches - Sparks Designer Draft Challenge 28 June - 4 July

Another quick post today to join in with the Paper Smooches - Sparks Designer Drafts Challenge. 

I have to admit, I was a little stuck with all the straight lines but after going thru my Paper Smooches dies stash, I realise that the 'straight lines' don't necessarily have to be 'straight lines'.......:

 Oh how I love my frame dies (if you hadn't noticed already.....)!

I used the small skinny frame from Paper Smooches 'Fancy Frame Icons' and die-cut it twice from pink CS and white CS. I glued them together to give them a little dimension and then adhered to the card front. I then used one of the other frame dies to die-cut once from yellow CS and twice from white CS. These were all stuck together. I stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches 'Uplifters' in black and then popped the frame over it on foam tape. A scattering of Tiny Hearts (dies also from Paper Smooches), covered in Wink of Stella to give it a hint of sparkle.

Its still raining outside so time to make another card before school pick up. Although Bella is looking at me with a look on her face of 'when are we going for a walk??'. Will have to take her for an extra, extra big wander tomorrow, wish I could just explain that her......

    Oh, for goodness' sakes....look at you with this incredibly innovative take on the sketch! I took one look and headed the opposite direction...didn't even 'think' about alternatives to the stripes! Your frames are awesome...and I won't ever tire of seeing you use them! Winner, winner in my books!

    Totally agree a very creative take on the sketch. Its so perfectly clean and simple and gorgeous. Love those frames so much I had to order one off trademe. :-)
