Just Add Ink Challenge #233

Its nearly 9.30pm here and the kids are in bed but each watching a dvd. I told them I desperately needed to do some internet banking and would be back soon. The banking was quick (the joy of no money!!) so thought I would sneak in this post.

This is the brilliant sketch for the Just Add Ink challenge this week. I really enjoy this challenge because not only is it a bit closer to home (in Australia) but they have such a variety of sketches, colour combo's and cards to case each week. I love this sketch and luckily (at 1am this morning) I thought of an idea immediately:

Its not often that I can say I'm 100% happy with a card but this is an exception. It came together so quickly and with no problems at all. I love the white on white and the stamps are so wonderful to use. Phoebe wants to display it in her room but might have to sneak it out every now and then...

I die cut the windows and then washi taped them where I wanted them to sit. This way I could stamp the three different coloured hearts in the right spot. I then popped the windows up on millions of tiny pieces of foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on the banner and this was popped up underneath on each side with some foam tape, as it sits over the end of the die-cut. Just a couple of sequins and done.

The metal stitched-window die and the darker pink sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh. The light pink sequins, sentiment and hearts are from Neat and Tangled 'Kindness Matters'.

Will also link this to the challenge at Addicted to Stamps #114  where their theme is 'Clean and Simple'. This is my millionth entry I think. They must get sick of me bombarding them with entries when they have a CAS challenge!

And of course also to Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge  where their theme is 'Anything Goes'. This is my millionth entry there as well!

I can hear the kids looking for me so better do some quick linking. Just to let you all know, the chocolate brownies Phoebe made yesterday were absolutely perfect and she is so proud. Not many left but thats what good baking is all about!

And I want to give a HUGE shout-out to the wonderful Darnell of djkardkreations. Over the month of September she had her 2nd NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff) challenge and I entered many, many times. I found out yesterday that I was one of the lucky 15 people to be picked by Hammy and the Random Number thingie to win a $25 voucher to Simon Says Stamp. What an amazing, generous woman she is and this couldn't have come at a better time (I feel Christmas stamp/die shopping is needed.....). Thank you Darnell for being such a wonderful supporter of myself and others in the crafting community and I can't wait for her next challenge!!

Take care
Shona
