CASE Study Challenge #197

And I thought yesterday was busy!! Its Cross Country time at school today and I have both kids at home. Phoebe has come last every year she has done the race and cried thru the whole thing. Its just not for her. And Max is very athletic but has asthma and finds the race just to long for his lungs to accommodate. So both kids, at home, having a 'sick day'.

This means for a busy day as I try to do all my jobs while having kids to entertain and look after. So please excuse me if this has lots of spelling mistakes etc, I'm trying to do this while making Phoebe lunch, waiting for washing machine to finish and doing my grocery list!!

I finally got around to looking at the amazing inspiration photo at CASE Study this week.
This is so brilliant and I had an idea straight away (thats two cards in a row ????).

I tried to think of other ways to do this card but couldn't get this out of my head! I don't have any circle dies but have a large circle punch, so used that on cardstock. I then lined it up with the face of the card and stamped 'Smile' in the middle. I spent ages working out where to put the 'happy birthday' and then covered the 'smile' in Glossy Accents. A big pile of foam squares and a couple of enamel dots..done!

Sentiment stamp from Altenew 'Sohcahtoa', 'Smile' stamp from Lawn Fawn 'Into the Woods' and enamel dots from Papervine.

Will also link to challenge at CAS on Sunday Challenge # 36, where their theme is 'birthday'. This is my second card.

Also will link to challenge at Simply Create Challenge #64 where their theme is 'Your Sentiment is the Highlight'.

And last one, will link to challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch #82
This is the sketch for this week:
Right, thats enough of that!! Off to feed the kids and find some sugar to keep myself going (where did I put those Peanut M&M's.....).

Take care
Shona
