As you can see from the photo, the lovely people at the Colour Me...! Challenge Blog chose red and white for the inspiration this week. Red isn't a colour I instantly think of for cards so it was a bit of a challenge for me but after looking through my small stamp collection, I had an idea.
I found that I had three different sizes of heart stamps and could have them trailing across the card getting smaller and smaller. They would also represent all the 'millions of little things' in the sentiment.
The largest heart stamp is from Hero Arts 'Year Round Sentiments', the slightly smaller heart stamp is from Lawn Fawn 'Into the Woods' and the smallest from Simon Says Stamps 'Tag Sayings'. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft 'True Friendship' and enamel dots from Papervine.
I'm also going to link this card to the Addicted to CAS Challenge #38 where their theme is 'Off the Edge' as my hearts start and finish off both card edges. And will also link as my second card to the Lawnscaping Challenge #81 where they want you to 'Create a Background using Stamps'.
One more card to post and then its movie time....yay! Just hope my husband hasn't discovered my M&M hiding place and all I find is an empty bag......
Take care
Shona
